Particulate Solid Research Inc. (PSRI) is an international consortium of companies each of which pay a yearly membership fee to fund applied research in the fluidization, solids transport, and other fluid-particle areas. It is 37 years old and in that time has amassed a prolific amount of design data on all aspects of fluidization, entrainment, pneumatic conveying, attrition, distributor design, standpipes, solids transfer, and circulating fluidized beds.  From the data produced, PSRI has developed design correlations and techniques which are among the best and most useful in the field.

 

PSRI conducts large-scale, applied Research Programs in the fluidization and fluid-particle areas for its member companies. The PSRI Staff also conducts proprietary contract research for member companies, and are available for consulting. Consulting and contract research are available for non-member companies as time and manpower permit.

 

PSRI has large-scale equipment, and high-pressure and high-temperature test units, as well as smaller, laboratory-scale research facilities. A tour of PSRI's laboratory can be arranged at your convenience.
